Outdoor retailers sell objects; climbers buy systems. The whole project came out of that gap: a browsing experience organised around complete kits rather than isolated products.

Every item carries a weight, a packed size and an icon drawn to the same optical rules, so a user can assemble a load-out and see the total weight update as they go. It is the feature the client is now known for, and it started as a spreadsheet on a shop counter.
